On behalf of the NVRS I would like to invite you all to the " 7th Vitreo-retinal Society's Annual Conference in conjunction with 10th Indo China Ocular Inflammation Study Group Meeting to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal from Nov 16th-18th.
The conference will be a three days event focusing on vitreoretinal diseases, medical/ surgical management, uveitis and other inflammatory eye disorders.
We would like to heartily thank Prof. Narsing A. Rao and Dr. Somsiri Sukavatcharin from ICOISG for selecting Kathmandu as the venue of the conference and for inviting distinguished experts from the region and beyond. Undoubtedly the conference will provide a stimulating platform for knowledge sharing and keeping abreast of recent advances. It will be a good opportunity to meet our colleagues in person from Nepal and abroad as we gradually return back to the pre COVID era.
Kathmandu is sure to win your heart with its rich culture, pleasant weather and captivating heritage.

It is my honor to welcome you on behalf of the Nepal Vitreo-Retina Society (NVRS) to the 7th Nepal Vitreo-Retina Conference and the 10th Indo-China Ocular Inflammation Study Group Meeting being held from November 16th to 18th 2023.
Nepal has excelled in the field of eye care, proving to be a global model for success. Despite many challenges, Nepal has been able to provide high quality eye care to all with the collaborative efforts of different national and international professionals. To see the rapid progress and growth of the different subspecialties in ophthalmology is thrilling. It is heartening to know that there has also been an increase in the number of vitreo-retina surgeons and uveitis and oculo-inflammatory disease specialists in Nepal. The goal of this forum is to create an environment for professionals in eye care to come together in one place in the hopes of fostering new collaborations to improve the scope of eye care in Nepal.
I would like to extend a note of gratitude and congratulations to the organizing committee of this historic event. With plenty of prospects for scholarly discussions amongst a diverse range of professionals, I hope we will be able to exchange our knowledge and skills and foster new and exciting collaborations. This conference will pave the path for the future of eye care in Nepal.
Our goal of restoring the gift of sight in people can only be achieved through our professional dedication and commitment to fulfill our greatest ambitions. I have faith that with our combined efforts, any insurmountable challenge will surely be overcome as we remain steadfast in our mission. With the complementary trinity of service, academics and research, we will remain well on our path to success.

Message from IndoChina Ocular Imflammation Study Group
It gives me great pleasure inviting you to the 10th Indochina Ocular Inflammation and infection meeting to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal on November 17-18, 2023. After 2 years of hiatus not holding the meeting due to COVID-19, it is great that we can hold the meeting in person in capital city of Nepal. The city is known for superb culture, friendly people, and amazing historic sites.
Primary focus of the meeting will be educational, interactive, and clinical case-based presentations. The topics covered will include uveitis and related intraocular inflammations of non-infectious and infectious etiologies and pathogenesis. In addition, optic nerve and orbital inflammations and scleritis will be covered. Novel and evolving treatments including immunomodulatory agents and biolocals will be covered. Furthermore, tailored diagnostic laboratory investigations and current imaging will be emphasized to support diagnosis, interventions and prognosis.
The Indochina meeting speakers include academic ophthalmologists with national and international expertise in diagnosis and treatment of challenging ocular inflammatory diseases. I am glad to state that speakers will be from United States, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Europe, Japan and Singapore. As in the past Indochina meeting is fashioned to facilitate interaction of the participants with the speakers during the meeting hours and subsequently during social events organized by the meeting host, Dr. Sanyam Bajimaya, President of Nepal Vitreo-Retina Society and Dr. Somsiri Sukavatcharintr, organizer of Indochina Ocular Inflammation Study Group.
On behalf of Indochina Ocular Inflammation Study Group faculty, I urge you to take part in the meeting with goal of enhancing your clinical skills in current management of ocular inflammations. Look forward to seeing you in Kathmandu.

Message from NVRS President
Dear Teachers, Friends, and Colleagues On behalf of the Nepal Vitreo-Retina Society (NVRS), it is our great pleasure to welcome everyone to join the 7th Nepal Vitreo-Retina Society's Annual Conference in conjunction with the 10th Indo-China Ocular Inflammation Study Group meeting on November 16–18, 2023, in Kathmandu. We are inviting eminent international speakers who have done a lot of work and research in Retinal Disease and Uveitis. The meeting will provide new updates, advancements, and challenges in the management of Posterior Segment Disease and Uveitis.
Nepal contains large bio-cultural diversity, from the high Himalayan landscapes of Mt. Everest to the Mahabharata Range of valleys and plain terrains. There are eight World Heritage Sites in Nepal, including Pashupatinath and Swoyambhunath, and most of the monuments lie in the Kathmandu Valley. Similarly, Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, is also among the World Heritage Sites. We also invite you to enjoy site-seeing and adventures of nature in our country.

On behalf of scientific team, It gives us an immense pleasure to welcome everyone in the scientific collaboration of Indo China inflammation study group and Nepal vitreo Retina Society and it marks the new venture in connecting the world in retinal and uveal illnesses in different directions.
Besides, it provides opportunities to interact, learn, and get updated from renowned faculties from all across the globe. It is going to be a platform for the excellent networking for young, enthusiastic young people as well.
